Every Little Bit Counts
Uganda is one of the poorest countries on the African continent and in the world. Malnutrition, caused by not having enough to eat or eating too little nutrient-rich food, mainly affects the young population. More than a third of young children in Uganda are stunted and many women and children are anemic as a result of this.
Your support will equip Gift Angels Foundation with the ability to improve the quality of life of those who need it the most. Donation funds are used to provide our youth with necessities such as food, blankets, safe drinking water, medical care, and access to education.
We strive to be completely transparent with all donors on where and how donated funds are used. Should you wish to specify how your donations are used, please use our contact form or get in touch via email. We appreciate and thank all donors. Please know your contribution makes a difference in someone’s life and brings us closer to our goals.
NUTRITION & HEALTH
Your support will help to provide the most vulnerable individuals with basic necessities such as food, water, and medication.
Only a quarter of Ugandan children who start primary school go on to attend secondary school. Factors such as school fees, abuse, and early marriage contribute to these statistics. Our goal is to improve youth literacy levels and to educate the youth about their rights.
SUPPORT FOR HIV POSITIVE
In addition to providing HIV-positive individuals with medical assistance, your contributions will help to raise awareness and to educate adults and children about HIV/AIDS.
WATER & SANITATION
Limited access to safe drinking water and poor hygiene has left many children at risk of getting ill. We want to change the way communities access drinking water and provide families with the necessary education on hygiene and sanitation.
Agriculture is an important source of income for many Ugandans. With your help, we can increase access to quality crops such as sweet potatoes, millet, and plantains.
We focus on community development through infrastructure development, education, and empowering both individuals and groups of people. Visit our Bring a Smile to a Child and Mothers of Gold pages to learn how your contributions can help.
